100% Satisfaction Guarantee
In the event that you are dissatisfied with Horizon’s service and desire to obtain a refund of the original purchase price, please notify Horizon in writing within 1 year of installation. Horizon may require that you sign documents approving the equipment removal and releasing Horizon from all liability. Horizon will schedule a time to remove the equipment from your property. Horizon recommends that you immediately make other arrangements with a service provider of your choice to install new equipment in your home, as Horizon will not be replacing your old equipment. Upon removal of the equipment, Horizon will pay you 100% of the original purchase price, less any financing discounts or service charges.
No Surprises Guarantee
Horizon will not increase the proposal price you agreed to, unless Horizon determines that it must dispose of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, or Horizon is required to correct or upgrade pre-existing conditions, or if you require services from another person, which was excluded in the original proposal.
Property Protection Guarantee
If Horizon needs to repair your property, please notify Horizon in writing within 30 days of the installation. Horizon will arrange for the repair of your property.
No Lemon Guarantee
If your air conditioner compressor fails twice within five years of installation or your furnace heat exchanger fails within ten years, please notify Horizon in writing so that Horizon can replace the effected equipment. Horizon will select comparable new equipment to replace the originally installed equipment. The No Lemon Guarantee only applies to specified equipment and when Horizon installed a complete heating and cooling system with all necessary components. (Furnace, condensing unit, thermostat) The No Lemon Guarantee does not apply to equipment damaged by Acts of God, Fire, customer’s negligence or abuse, or any components not furnished or installed by Horizon.
Performance Guarantee
If you require hotel lodging reimbursement, please contact Horizon first to repair your system. If Horizon cannot fix the system within forty-eight hours of notification, and if the system has completely failed (no heat, no cooling), then inform Horizon that you want to stay in a hotel. Horizon will then provide you with approval for reimbursement of your lodging. Please submit a receipt and proof of payment to Horizon for reimbursement up to $250.00. Horizon will credit your service invoice for actual expenses not exceeding $250.00. Meals and other non-lodging expenses are not eligible for reimbursement.
All of the “High Five Guarantees” are Transferable!
Horizon’s guarantees and warranties are fully transferable to purchasers of your home during the applicable warranty period. If you desire to transfer the guarantees, please contact Horizon to obtain a transfer form. Please complete the transfer form and return it to Horizon. Horizon suggests that you obtain the form in advance so that it can be signed by the purchaser at the closing. All time periods are calculated from the date of original equipment purchase.
