Installation work was excellent; the installation crew did a few things that were beyond my expectations such as cutting a piece of sheet metal to match the external siding for a perfect exterior fit for the new venting, adding the power line in a manner that did not look haphazard and creatively plumbing the existing humidifier and furnace water drain so that everything looked clean. The entire installation has a definite craftsman feel. The other nice thing about the crew was that they really cared about doing a god job and took extensive pride in their work. Minor details such as how the pipe hangers were placed, the new power line was routed, and placement of the sheet metal was real proof of a desire to do a superb job. The sales team was willing to work around my multi-phased approach to future projects. Even the admin who took the initial call for a quote left a very positive impression.
And with my two smaller children, the installation team really went out of their way to be both kind and careful. They also thoughtfully left behind the big furnace box in one piece so that the kids could make a project. Bottom line – the contractor did a phenomenal job, represented Trane well, and will have permission to use our family as a reference.
I never imagined that buying a furnace could be a good experience; in fact, it was one reason we put off the purchase for a year. Horizon Services demonstrated that buying a new furnace can be a very positive experience for the entire family.

During the first six months of 2005 I built a home in northwest Denver. I solicited bids from Tom Wolvin of Horizon Services and another heating contractor. Tom’s bid was about $5000 more and I hired the other company. I made a mistake.
The components of my heating/hot water system are efficient and technologically advanced; the installation was not. There were problems almost from the start. Within a month of installation, I had no hot water. In November of 2006 I had neither hot water nor heat for five days. The worst problem occurred this spring. One Saturday in Late April, I went downstairs to the basement to wash clothes and stepped into pooled water. The company that installed the heating system came the following Tuesday May 1 and adjusted the pressure gauge. Water continued to leak and on Thursday, May 10 another repairman from the same company replaced the pressure gauge. The following Saturday, May 12, I went again downstairs to do laundry and this time discovered that hot water was leaking down my drain. I was in tears, it was Mother’s Day weekend and I was overwrought. I called the company that had twice tried to repair the system to let them know of the latest leak and inform them that my relationship with tem was over. I had Tom’s information and , believe it or not, called him on his cell phone. He interrupted his Saturday and came to my house to look at my heating/hot water system.
The following Monday, his crew arrived, dropped off material and Tim began to fix many problems that Tom had found. Tim discovered that the source of the hot water leak was a ruptured tank. The tank was under warranty and was replaced. Tim worked very late to make sure that I would have hot water the next morning. Within two days all the problems were fixed and my system was working properly.
Had I hired Horizon Services in the first place, I would never have had these problems.
The technology of the new heating/cooling/hot water systems is advanced but worthless unless the components are properly installed. Tom and his employees attend trainings and stay abreast of the latest technological developments.
If I ever need work done on a heating/cooling/hot water system, I would hire Horizon Services. Sincerely..

Horizon Services was excellent to deal with during every step of my installation. The pre-sales info and attention to my needs in a system were addressed perfectly. Mike McCartney was very very knowledgeable and was able to accurately answer all our questions; he is an excellent sales guy. This is in comparison to almost 10 other companies that just bluntly were full of crap!!!! Many companies could hardly wait to give me quote that was completely vague and void of any details, then they had the nerve to call and see if I was still interested in their system. Other companies had very little knowledge of their products, after 5 years and numerous quotes my ability to understand my homes configuration had become quite refined.
I have been considering a full system replacement for almost 5 years and Horizon Services was able to install confidence and explain everything in detail that made it easy to make the decision to go with Trane and Horizon Services.
We were not disappointed, during the install the crew was very professional and paid especially close attention to my property and kept me involved in every step of the install so that all the details were up to my expectations. Very seldom can one say that a furnace looks nice in a laundry room, but in this case it is true. The outside compressor was to be installed on the slanted side property of the house and the crew made sure it was dug down to insure solid ground and all the surrounding landscape was returned to as it was found.
We did the full furnace, heat pump, air cleaner and humidifier and are very happy with each!
The few issues of fine tuning a complete system after the install were addressed immediately and Horizon made sure that these issues were fixed ASAP. I especially appreciate the calls to let me know they are coming and on the way. In today’s busy world customers do not have time to sit and wait for technicians to not show up promptly.
Again, we met or talked on the phone to nearly 8 people with Horizon Services and they were awesome to deal with!!!!! We will tell everyone we meet about Horizon and Trane Products!!!

Getting our new furnace was an amazing experience, way beyond our expectations! There was no high pressure sales. Everyone who came out to our house explained furnaces and the differences between them so we could choose what would be best for us. Carolyn was so knowledgeable and made me feel like I was in great hands! The technicians, Jonathan, Zen and Josh all did a great job making sure our floor was protected as they brought equipment in, they cleaned up after the work was done and now we have a furnace that I love! The service we received in repairing our garage door late Sunday afternoon was amazing. I was surprised that anyone would even come out at that time. The fact that there was no additional “weekend” charge made it even better. Jonathan was the friendliest and most courteous technician we’ve ever dealt with. He explained everything he was doing, and did not rush through the job at all. He made sure we understood how everything worked, going through it step by step. We had an issue with a defective part the next morning (even though he had made sure everything was working properly before he left), and he was right back making sure that parts were replaced and in working order. I’ll definitely be requesting for him to come back out in the future for any needed service! Horizon Services is a great business with great workers! I have been a Horizon customer since I purchased my home in 2010. From the office staff to the amazing techs, dealing with Horizon consistantly is a pleasant experience.
They are all so knowledgeable and respectful and friendly. They are quick to respond to the needs of my system. I called November 8, 2019 at 8:15 am to report a thermostat issue. Jonathon and Brad had my system up and running within an hour and a half.!
Horizon is clearly, by definition , a service company with integrity. They present honest and complete information about my system so that I am able to make informed decisions. Exceptional company!

Even though Horizon Services installed our Furnace/AC/Humidifier combo 7 years ago (has functioned very well), we just recently signed up for the maintenance plan. It works great! Horizon keeps track for Spring A/C and Fall Furnace, they contact us for an appointment. They check for any suspect parts, ensure everything is meeting performance parameters, make sure there are no blockages or other cleanliness issues, and leave a clean work area with confidence everything is good. What a good bunch!
Horizon installed a new high efficient furnace and air conditioner in our home in Centennial. The crew was extremely professional and courteous. I was very pleased that they provided sufficient resources so that all work was able to be completed in one day. We have used Horizon for maintenance services for several years and have been very pleased with their service.

Horizon Services performed trouble-shooting on an annoying droning noise our furnace was making. This involved individual part inspection and working with the furnace manufacturing engineering. Horizon did not give up and determined it was a unique furnace-tubing-house combination resonance. They addressed it by adjusting the inlet tubing configuration. Kudos to Horizon Services, how innovative!
David arrived promptly for the annual AC maintenance. He listened to the explanation I gave him about our system and clarified any issues he thought may need trouble shooting. He worked quietly and neatly at all times and made sure to keep all the doors closed as we requested.
He explained everything on completion of his service and suggested tips to increase the AC function. There were some niggle issues he suggested could be fixed but understood when we declined those services at present and did not push to 'make a sale'. He was very knowledgable and I would recommend him in a heart beat!
Our consultant impressed us as very honest and having a good knowledge of the product. We did not feel high pressure at any time and he answered all our questions. When the installer came to install the furnace he was careful not to make a mess and did an excellent job of installing and cleaning up. Our building inspector was very impressed with the installation that was done.
